Professionals who wish to build knowledge and skills for protecting critical infrastructures and enhancing emergency services, but can't commute regularly to the Seattle campus, will find the distance learning format well-suited to busy schedules that often require them to be on the move.

The fully online MSPCI program has these additional benefits:

• Across the program, students build a broad, professional network that starts with classmates, instructors and guest speakers and reaches out to involve professionals from many different fields, as well as members of the MSPCI Advisory Board.
• Students have more freedom to choose when and where they do the coursework; regular assignments help to structure progress through the curriculum, and encourage the discipline of individual persistence and focus.
• The distance learning format includes multiple instructional tools to provide a varied and engaging learning environment. Learning resources include print materials, audio and video recordings, graphics, interactive elements, and a host of web-based resources, including online tools for discussion, debate and teamwork.
